Chocolate Chip Cookie Oatmeal

You know how your parents never gave you cookies for breakfast? The only time I ever got dessert for breakfast was the day after my birthday—I got to eat my leftover birthday cake! This morning I made a big bowl of oatmeal and guess what it tasted like? A big, fat, chocolate chip cookie. Seriously! So now, you can have cookies for breakfast—sort of.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Oatmeal

Servings: 1

Amount per serving: 156 calories- 36g carbs- 3g fat- 3g protein- 15g sugar

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup water
  • dash salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar free fat free dry pudding mix
  • ½ tablespoon semisweet chips

Directions

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, mix together oats, water, salt, vanilla extract, and brown sugar.
  2. Microwave for 2 minutes
  3. Stir in vanilla pudding mix.
  4. Top with chocolate chips and enjoy!
