Guiltless Greek Chicken Wrap with Cranberry Vinaigrette

I had requests to make lunch recipes, so I decided to do so! I’d toyed with the idea, but I wasn’t sure if people would like them since lunch can be a hassle sometimes, but I decided to go ahead and start introducing lunch into the blog! So, today I made a delicious Greek Chicken Wrap with a homemade Cranberry Vinaigrette! Wraps have become popular for lunch. With Subway’s flatbread amongst many other restaurants that now offer sandwiches as wraps, finding a “healthy” alternative for lunch seems easy! Unfortunately, a lot of the time the calories are still there because of the sauces and ingredients in the wrap itself! This recipe is 223 calories made with fresh ingredients and real meat! Win-win!

Guiltless Greek Chicken Wrap with Cranberry Vinaigrette (click here for that recipe!)

Servings: 1

Amount per serving: 223 calories- 21g carbs- 5g fat- 26g protein- 5g sugar

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs Cranberry Vinaigrette
  • 1 large tortilla (nutrition reflects “La Banderita Low Carb Soft Taco Tortilla-81 calories per tortilla)
  • 1 chicken breast (3 oz)
  • 1 clove garlic-minced (can be omitted if you’d like)
  • Dash of dill (can be omitted if you’d like)
  • ½ cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 tbs crumbled feta cheese

Directions:

  1. Slice your chicken into strips
  2. In a skillet, brown the diced garlic and then add the chicken. Put the dill on the chicken and cook it! If you don’t have/don’t like dill, you can use salt and pepper or whatever seasoning you’d like!
  3. Lay out your tortilla and put the lettuce on the edge of it. Then add the chicken, then the feta, then the vinaigrette. Image
  4. Roll up your wrap and enjoy! If you want, you can add whatever veggies you like! Bell peppers and onions would be delicious on this Greek wrap! Even olives if you like them! I will say that my wrapping technique needs work :)
