When you run out of groceries and have to get creative, dinner can be a struggle. This recipe, however, was NOT a struggle. When I made this turkey gyro for the first time, it was SO easy and delicious, I had to recreate it and post the recipe.
I posted the recipe on my new website: www.keepingcarriefit.com , which reminds me: I have a new website!
I haven’t abandoned or forgot about you guys! I have been wanting to branch out into healthy LIVING, not just healthy eating. I created Keeping Carrie Fit for that reason!
My goal with Keeping Carrie Fit is to show that living a healthy lifestyle can be inspirational, no matter what your goals are. You don’t have to have a 6 pack or be a fitness competitor or model to inspire someone. I want to show the “real life” side of living a healthy lifestyle. I want to show that you can still be healthy and fit while working a full time job and taking care of a family. While “fitspiration” may show that being fit means being ripped and eating 100% clean, the majority of us don’t live that way, and we should look to others like us to be inspired. I want people to think, “Well, Carrie works 40+ hours a week, has a business of her own, and still finds the time to exercise and eat well…I can do it, too!”
Keeping Carrie Fit isn’t just about losing weight or getting fit enough for a competition or a race. Keeping Carrie Fit is a blog about living healthy and living your life.
All that being said, I’m sure you’re ready to see some AMAZING food. Like, I said, this recipe is super easy! It will become a staple in your house!
